With 20 years industry experience - licensee of several venues including a 5 year stint as Groups Ops Manager for the Belgian Beer Cafe Group and Dozens of consultancy jobs both local and abroad, his big love is creating a homely unique environment and prides himself on attention to detail, sourcing great quality seasonal produce and bringing warmth and a smile to all who walk through the doors
Simon has mastered his trade working in many countries around the globe, from the early 90's in his home town in Indonesia and finally settling in Kobe, Japan and opening a successful cocktail bar. and late night spot - Fast forward five years he and his pregnant wife start their life in Australia. With an already successful Indonesian Restaurant under his belt (Djava - formerly in Cronulla) Simon brings a special kind of creativity and flair
